EXPERIENCED SOLAR INSTALLER (Hourly wage DOE)

·         2+ years installing solar electric systems (leadership experience preferred)

·         Demonstrable AC/DC theory background

·         Monitoring systems experience

·         NABCEP certification preferred

·         NEC trained

·         Experience complying with OSHA safety requirements

·         Ability to install large jobs start to finish autonomously

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Ability to manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer service

·         Continually self-educating

·         Familiarity with renewable energy industry (rebate programs, new products/technologies, politics, environmental issues etc.)

Project Engineer in Murrieta

HelioPower Inc, is currently seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join our Murrieta, CA team. This is a demanding, full-time position that reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for full project lifecycles from presale support to system engineering and construction.  The Project Engineer will focus on commercial projects, but will work in a variety of business units including residential, commercial, consulting services, etc. Some travel (potentially international) is to be expected.
 

Candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:

EXPERIENCED SOLAR PROJECT ENGINEER (Salary DOE)

·         High energy, integrity, and intelligence

·         3+ years engineering and building commercial solar projects

·         Engineering degree

·         Ability to: conduct and produce shading reports, production models, array layouts, fully design and engineer all aspects of a PV system, etc

·         Computer drafting expertise

·         Excellent computer skills

·         Intimate with the 2008 NEC

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Ability to drive large project from start to finish
