Guidelines from the Department of Energy (DOE) and similar sources recommend using “live” or “real-time” data for reporting and analysis. Automated alerting and real-time cost analysis are extended benefits that enable decisive, cost reduction actions. 

Reduced energy costs and reduced energy demands on the power grid are the foundational benefits.  Monitoring also provides the ability to maximize solar contribution efficiency, verify energy efficiency improvements, effectively reduce loads, calculate the ideal tariff schedule and verify billing accuracy.

There are direct and indirect paybacks from energy monitoring.  Direct payback is received from changes in organizational behavior and business process and can yield immediate savings of up to 5%.  Indirect payback is comprised of two components; tariff & usage involving tariff schedule, billing and peak demand corrections, and load profiling to identify energy reduction measures.

System Monitoring

HelioPower has implemented a system to monitor our customer's solar electric systems from our offices. We immediately spot any potential problem and initiate a service call to correct it. Consistent, professional monitoring of system health ensures the maximum production from your system and protects your solar investment.

System Design & Integration

HelioPower designers are degreed and certified in advanced photovoltaics. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, we use a range of computerized tools to assist us in our design and analysis. These tools include Solar Design Studio Pro and CSI Solar.

Professional Installation

All crew leads are certified in advanced photovoltaic installation. Crew members undergo monthly training on products and installation techniques to ensure our customers receive the most value from their solar investment.

Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repair
